I'm nearing the date for my scheduled mastectomy, August 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM. This is my third round of cancer (05/07/01 breast cancer, 05/14/22 thyroid cancer [removed complete thyroid], and 07/07/22 cancer came back in the same area, and the outcome will be a mastectomy). If I could get everyone to think about the children diagnosed with cancer at a very young age, what would it be like if it was no longer a threat?
