In 2004, a small group of friends decorated their bikes and threw on Santa hats to ride along Doheny State Beach and celebrate the holiday season. On the 4th year of this annual event, someone expressed that they would like to join in on the ride but didn’t have a bike. The group decided to purchase a beach cruiser bike and sell raffle tickets with any net proceeds donated to CHOC (Children’s Hospital of Orange County). Their first “Santa’s Helpers Ride” resulted in a contribution of $160.

This will be the 19th year for the Santa’s Helpers Bike Ride and with the support of so many, we have now contributed over $155,600 to CHOC!

Over the years we have raised money by selling raffle tickets, limiting our fundraising to a small (but mighty) group. This year we have set up a donation page, allowing us to reach Santa’s Helpers everywhere!

Every dollar donated to THIS giving page will go directly to CHOC Children’s Metabolic Disorders and Nutrition Clinic. It’s a foundation so close to our hearts and any amount is greatly appreciated.
