20th Annual Santa's Helpers Ride
Support CHOC's Metabolic Disorders and Nutrition Clinic
Celebrating 20 Years of Santa’s Helpers Bike Ride!
What started in 2004 as a small group of friends decorating their bikes, donning Santa hats, and cruising along Doheny State Beach to celebrate the holiday season has grown into something truly extraordinary. By the 4th year of this annual tradition, the group decided to include others who wanted to join the fun but didn’t have bikes. They purchased a beach cruiser, sold raffle tickets, and donated the net proceeds to CHOC (Children’s Hospital of Orange County). That first fundraising effort raised $160—and the “Santa’s Helpers Bike Ride” was born!
Now, 20 years later, this cherished tradition has contributed over $198,915 to CHOC, supporting children and families in need. Over the years, the ride’s success has come from the dedication of a small (but mighty) community selling raffle tickets and rallying together.
This year, in honor of our 20th anniversary, we’re expanding our reach! We’ve launched a donation page, allowing Santa’s Helpers everywhere to join the cause. Every dollar donated to THIS page will go directly to CHOC Children’s Metabolic Disorders and Nutrition Clinic, a cause that’s close to our hearts.
We’re calling on all Santa’s Helpers to make this milestone year our most impactful yet. Together, let’s spread the holiday spirit and make a difference for CHOC!
