Eduardo Quiroz was born November 5th, 1996, and passed away December 24th, 2022. Eddie, as he was a well known and liked Emergency Medical Technician in CHOC’s Emergency Department. He loved his job and it showed. He was a great fit for our team. He maintained calm composure under pressure, was a hard worker and was always looking to help others. His smile lit up a room and his attitude lightened the workload of the team each evening he worked. When Eddie passed away, he was studying to become a nurse. Although we would give anything to have him still working along side us, we know that helping others was something he would be glad that we can do as we think of him. In honor of his memory, CHOC has established a scholarship in Eddie's name to support Emergency Department Techs looking to become nurses. Every dollar donated to this giving page will go directly to the Eddie Quiroz Memorial Scholarship at CHOC.
