Kendell Spicer was the 1st patient at CHOC hospital when he was 12 years old. Sadly, August 14, 2021 Kenny passed. His heart has always been at CHOC. His procedure at the hospital was the first of it's kind. He always said his 3 month stay was very special. The nurses would read, play games and sit at his bedside and talk. He loved his nurses. At this time, his family thought it would be appropriate to give back to CHOC. Kenny always had a special place in his heart for the children with disabilities and would love that there was a fundraiser in his name.
