Homes With Heart — Leo’s Story & Our Mission to Give Back

Becoming second time  father changed everything for me. When my son Leo entered this world, he brought more joy than I could have ever imagined — but within hours, our lives took an unexpected turn. Leo was diagnosed with aortic stenosis, a serious heart condition that required emergency surgery when he was barely 20 hours old.For days, I stood beside him in the CHOC Children’s Hospital Cardiology Center, watching nurses and doctors work tirelessly to save his little heart. Their dedication, compassion, and skill gave Leo a chance at life, and I will always be grateful. While staying in the hospital, I witnessed countless families facing unimaginable challenges. Many parents were desperate — not only emotionally, but financially. Life-saving treatments are incredibly expensive, and some families simply cannot afford the care their children urgently need. In those moments, something inside me changed. I knew I needed to use my profession to make a real difference.My Promise: Turning Real Estate Into Hope From every home I help buy or sell, I donate 20% of my commission directly to CHOC and other nonprofits that provide medical treatment for children in need.

Every child deserves a chance at life — but not every family can afford it.

Many of you know the story of my son, Leo, who was born with a critical heart condition and underwent emergency heart surgery at only 20 hours old. Thanks to the incredible team at CHOC Children’s Hospital, Leo is here with us today.

But while I stood next to his bed in the ICU, I saw so many children fighting the same battle — and so many parents who simply did not have the financial means to give their child the treatment they urgently needed.

No parent should ever face losing their child because they cannot afford medical care.

That moment changed me forever.
