On November 3rd, 2024, Emilio Jose "Milo" Armijo was born far too early, but in the short two weeks of his life, he made an immeasurable impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him. His strength and spirit left an indelible mark on his family and everyone who cared for him.

During those two weeks, Milo was supported by the incredible team at the CHOC NICU. These dedicated doctors, nurses, and staff went above and beyond to give him the best care possible. They weren’t just medical professionals—they were his champions, providing not only expert care but also emotional support and compassion to his family every step of the way. In his final moments, they surrounded him with love, dignity, and tenderness, and for that, his family will forever be grateful.

In honor of Milo and the extraordinary care he received, we have created this fundraising page for CHOC NICU. The donations will go toward the Neonatology Unit, helping to ensure that other babies like Milo receive the same high-quality care and compassion that he did.
