Thompson Autism and Neurodevelopmental Center at CHOC
Thompson Autism and Neurodevelopmental Center at CHOC provides programs for children of all age groups experiencing autism. The Center serves as a bridge to transitional services for patients after age 22 to ensure they continue to receive the care they need.
Gifts to the Center support programs for young children who have not yet been diagnosed, kids who have issues with aggressive behavior, and childrens with other health issues such as seizures, migraines or gastrointestinal disorders.
Philanthropic support of the Thompson Autism Center provides vital but non-reimbursable services to children, teens and their families to improve health outcomes and quality of life. Following are just a few areas where your generosity can make a life-changing impact:
• Child Life services, helping children with autism remain calm during testing and treatment and normalizing the Autism Center experience so that the child associates it with safety, joy and hope.
• Family services, including support groups, links to education/employment opportunities, assistance in finding counseling and much more.
• Social work support for children and families who are struggling with stressors linked to autism and co-occurring conditions.
• Support may include counseling and long-term follow-up to ensure optimal family health and safety
Please support the Thompson Autism Center at CHOC by making a contribution and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar raised will advance CHOC's great cause! Additionally, you can ask me how you can get involved too.
Together, we can make a difference!
