On Friday, August 14th, 2020, I officially became a member of the CHOC family. That day, my life took an unexpected turn when I suffered a Grand mal seizure leaving me unconscious for over 15 minutes, resulting in Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy. This year for my 16th birthday, I would like to raise as much as possible to not only show my appreciation to Dr. Julian Thomas and his team at CHOC Hospital, but to help all the children neuro patients at CHOC as well.
