Our brave little Seamus (Shea) is thriving and we have CHOC to thank. Please help us raise money for CHOC and, in particular, the hydrocephalus center of excellence. Currently, there is no way to cure hydrocephalus and the only treatment option requires brain surgery. Dr. Michael Muhonen, a preeminent neurosurgeon at CHOC, performed Shea’s shunt operation to combat his hydrocephalus condition. It is anticipated that Shea will undergo this surgery several times during his lifetime. Donations allow Dr. Muhonen to develop and implement state-of-the-art medical procedures and technology for pediatric patients, like Shea.
