Modern Woodmen of America is a member-owned fraternal financial services organization. We secure futures with financial guidance and products. We touch lives with fraternalism. Since 1883, Modern Woodmen has brought people together, supported families and strengthened communities nationwide. This holiday season, we want to continue our mission, to improve the quality of life for our members, by supporting CHOC and making a difference in the lives of the patients and families that they serve.

CHOC is a nonprofit pediatric hospital and offers many services that are uncompensated by insurance, regardless of the family’s ability to pay, and the Child Life department is one of those services. We are fundraising for this special department because their role is instrumental in normalizing stressful and scary hospital stays for every patient that walks through CHOC's doors. This amazing team is responsible for purchasing toys, games, crafts and activities just to name a few. They also help ease anxiety through play, distraction techniques, and specialty programs like, music therapy, pet therapy and more! Most of these activities and programs through Child Life are not covered by insurance so every dollar we raise makes an enormous impact for the patients and their families going through treatment.
