Join us in our 14th annual KatrinaKures Fundraiser for Type 1 Diabetes Research at Children's Health Orange County (CHOC). CHOC has supported many patients with innovative research and family-centered care including Katrina. Treated for type 1 diabetes at CHOC throughout her childhood, Katrina is fighting to find a "Kure" today. Starting in 2009, Katrina's has hosted fundraisers, dubbed KatrinaKures, to raise money for CHOC researchers who are studying diabetes. To date, the family has raised nearly $225,000. All funds raised go directly to fund Dr. Daniels' research in finding a "Kure" for Type 1 Diabetes. Yamaha Cares Upcycled Guitar Exhibit is free to the public and will feature some Upcycled instruments benefitting KatrinaKures. When you purchase this one-of-a-kind artwork, 100% of the money goes directly to the KatrinaKures fundraiser.
