Help the staff at Flush IV Hydration support children by contributing to our Book Drive for CHOC. CHOC’s Reach Out and Read program aims to educate parents and families about the importance of reading to children. CHOC providers write a “prescription” for the parent or caregiver to read with their child. This prescription is coupled with a free age-appropriate book the family is able to take home during each visit. Generous support is needed to maintain the program, purchase age-appropriate books and purchase books in the most common spoken languages by CHOC patients, which will increase access to families. Every dollar donated to our Virtual Book Drive will go directly to CHOC's Reach Out and Read Program, allowing CHOC to make meaningful book purchases for children and families served by all of CHOC Medical Group's outpatient primary care sites including Orange, Garden Grove and Santa Ana (Clinica CHOC Para Ninos and Boys and Girls Club Clinic). - $20 supports the cost of providing new books to one child per year. - $100 supports 1 child from 6 months through 5 years with new books.
